It's very easy to customize your iPhone or iPad application icons with iCustom !

You just have to go on the iCustom configuration page and follow the instructions to configure a shortcut with a custom icon and add it to your homescreen.

To finish, you'll find below some common problems or questions you might have while using iCustom :

If you have validation errors during your shortcut configuration, this means that I think that you didn't configure your app shortcut correctly.

I STRONGLY advise you to correct the errors before continue to the next step.

If the shortcut you add on your home screen doesn't launch your app :

1. Check that you have the choosen app installed on your device
2. Check if the app is in the state (these apps were added by the user's community and may not have been correctly tested)
3. For apps with options : Check if you made a mistake in the options (wrong URL for browsers, wrong phone number, ...)
4. In "Manual (custom scheme)" mode : check that you didn't made a mistake in the URL scheme you set

You MUST use Safari mobile browser to use iCustom and have the ability to add a shortcut on your home screen.

You MUST activate Javascript technology on Safari to use iCustom and generate the app shortcut correctly on the next step.

iCustom adds the generated shortcut to your homescreen using the iOS configuration profiles mechanisms. You must accept its installation to get your shortcut on your homescreen.

This is safe as these profiles only contains informations about how to add a "webclip" (a shortcut) on your homescreen

Simply long tap the icon and tap the little cross on its top-right corner, like for any other iOS app on your homescreen.

To completely and safely remove the shortcut from your device, remove its configuration profile from the Settings app > General > profiles
